I have been teaching Arashi-Do Behring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2013 and I absolutely love teaching. It makes me better at the art itself, but also, I love seeing the happiness in students when they learn something new. I started training with Arashi-Do Martial Arts in 2008, and received my Black Belt on Oct. 15, 2021. In Oct. 2024 I received my first Black Belt degree. I first started practicing Muay Thai, and then switched to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I have practiced many styles of martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu and Krav Maga. I love all Martial Arts but something is different with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. You learn something new every day no matter what belt or how long you’ve been doing it.
I have competed locally as well as internationally in Las Vegas, Nevada and in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. I will continue to compete as long as I can, to represent my Arashi-Do family. My greatest accomplishment is probably becoming a full-time instructor at Arashi-Do Martial Arts as Arashi-Do is my family and I am thankful to be one of their instructors.
